GANS AGM and call for Board nominations
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The 2012 Annual General Meeting of the Geomatics Association of Nova Scotia will be held on June 13th in the McNally Theatre, Saint Mary's University, Halifax, Nova Scotia from 12:30 to 13:30.

The meeting is open to all members of GANS. Members can register to attend at: http://gans.ca/news-events/events?eventId=447092

The GANS is presently accepting nominations for Board positions. If you are interested in participating in GANS at the Board level, please contact the Committee at: [email protected].

Geomatics Atlantic 2012 Update
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Geomatics Association of Nova Scotia (GANS) is hosting the 25th Annual Geomatics Atlantic Conference. The conference will take place June 12-14, 2012 at Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. The website is up and running and will provide the latest up-to-date info on the conference: http://www.geomaticsatlantic.com/. Let’s celebrate 25 years of successful geomatics conferences in Atlantic Canada!

Dr. Robert Fournier, Science Columnist, CBC Radio Information Morning has been confirmed as the Keynote speaker on the opening day.

An e-mail distribution list has been set up to keep you informed about the Conference. If you have not received a confirmation e-mail that you are on the list, please send an e-mail to geomaticsatlanticconference@gmail.com to subscribe.

Funding Available for Exhibitors

Call for Posters: Extended to May 11
